Plans are underway for the 2013 Right to Life or North Central Indiana Legacy of Life Banquet! We expect this to once again be the largest banquet gathering in the 4-county area. With your help we can reach that goal.
This year’s banquet features keynote speaker Melissa Ohden. Melissa is the survivor of a failed saline abortion in 1977. She has been featured on television and radio programs including: The 700 Club, EWTN’s Life on the Rock and Defending Life, Fox News, Facing Life Head On, Focus on the Family, and American Family Radio. Her life and ministry is featured in the award winning pro-life documentary, A Voice for Life. Melissa’s story is one about the beauty of God’s grace in our lives, about the power of love, about the hope for joy and healing in the midst of grief and loss, and about the transformational power of forgiveness and in answering God’s call for your life. Our emcee for the evening will be Randy Polston. Randy has been a teacher and principal in the Warsaw School system over the past 35 years. Currently, Randy is the director of applied learning at Grace College and a member of the Warsaw Community School Board. He and his wife, Rachael have two children, one grandchild, and a second one on the way.
Dinner music will again be provided by the talented Jeff Van Houten and dinner will be catered by Our Father’s House.
Tickets will once again be a reasonable $20.00. Please consider inviting another individual or couple to attend with you. Or, better yet, fill a table of 8. Last year 1,000 people attended the banquet. With your help we can meet and exceed that number.
To show our appreciation for the part that table hosts play in the success of the banquet we are planning a Meet & Greet for table hosts to meet Melissa Ohden. Also, for each table that you fill, your name will be entered in a drawing for two packages of prizes worth $250 each!
We also have advertising and sponsorship opportunities which help us keep the cost of the tickets low. Whether you are a business, church or individual, your support through program booklet advertisement or banquet sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
