As of January 1, 2013 KCRTL is now Right to Life of North Central Indiana. The new organization has been created by the merger of KCRTL and Whitley County Right to Life. Right to Life of North Central Indiana will also serve Wabash and Fulton counties.
KCRTL has developed a great relationship with Whitley County Right to Life over the past several years and both organizations see this move as a way to continue and expand the good things happening in Whitley County.
Representatives from the Wabash County pregnancy center (L.I.F.E Center) have been met with and they are looking forward to partnering with the new organization. We are also working with pastors and individuals in Fulton County.
In 2011, 75 abortions were performed on women from the 4-county area. The goal is to see that number drop and ultimately have every baby in north central Indiana welcomed into the world rather than looked at as something to be discarded. We will also continue to encourage mothers to choose life through our support of area pregnancy resource centers. The objective through this expansion is more pro-life education and awareness and more lives saved.
Your tax-deductible donations, as always, are appreciated and will help encourage a culture of life in the 4-county area.
Here are some additional details:
- Dave Koontz will continue on as executive director.
- Current KCRTL board members will continue.
- Paul and Debra Tomaszewski (Whitley County Right to Life) have been added to the board.
- The relationship with, and support for, Heartline Pregnancy Center will continue as strong as ever.
