900 People Attend 20th Annual Legacy of Life Banquet

Nine hundred guests attended the 20th Annual Right to Life banquet on Monday, September 19 at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center at Grace College in Winona Lake.  Peter Heck was an engaging emcee for the evening and keynote speaker Julia Holcomb told her story.  As a 16-year-old, Julia was the girlfriend of rock star Steven Tyler and was coerced into aborting their unborn baby.

Larry and Mary Ellen Long and Grace College were the recipients of the 2016 Mary Louise Lowe Pro-Life Award.  Congressman Marlin Stutzman and Mike Fichter, President of Indiana Right to Life addressed the crowd.

This banquet is the result of great teamwork each year with Grace College staff, athletic teams and students helping in many ways, Lakeland Christian Academy providing center pieces, Wildman Business Group providing enough linens for 140 tables and cloth napkins for 900 guests, Our Father’s House catering, many supporters from the community helping with setup and tear down as well as 80 plus table hosts who invited guests this year.  Sponsors and advertisers help keep the cost of tickets to a reasonable $25.00 per person.
